I have been so inspired by those of you who are spring cleaning, plus the storms make the ground to wet to work in the garden or on the pool bank project, that we took some time to do a little spring cleaning.
The utility room,, kitchen and dining areas were done.
Michael offered to beat the rugs.
Wow, that looks amazing! I didn't think he could get it looking that good.
And we got the two bathrooms done.
Also on this day, some friends came over and we worked on a birthday cake for two very special and loved young men, Michael and his friend Nate. We were going to celebrate the next day and thought it would be fun to have some time together just putting a cake together.
As a bonus, I got help doing cleaning. I love to photograph my friends, but some are very camera shy, so I didn't take any photos of the hilarious day we had. But the cake was ready to go off the next morning on our adventure.

wooohoo....believe it or not I am still spring cleaning...in clumps. I don't think I will ever get done. I may have to do the cleaning of the cabinets in the laundry room and kitchen after next months vacation. I want your tub!
