Finishing the Doll Bed and a Bridal Shower.

.

We painted the bed pink and it just about killed me. At that point I did not want to work on it until I'd had a break.

I dressed it up in it's bedding and set it aside.

Leah had some ideas she wanted to try on the medallion, and I, being always glad to have her company, as well as not having decided what I was going to do yet to spruce it up, happily invited her over the next day to play with paint.

And I thought she did a beautiful job!

That night we went to a dear friend's bridal shower.

Silly games, good conversation, great food, and - instead of gifts, she asked for prayers, verses, and blessings.

She also asked for bows. Only bows. So she could make a rehearsal bouquet. A lovely idea. She's a little camera shy these days, the wonderful world of hiding from stalkers, so I don't get to show the beautiful bride to be.

And I have to show this gorgeous cat.

It's so cool to be a panther.

  4. Beth,

Thank you. Wish we could do more. Sometimes all we can do are the little things... and let God handle the great big ones, eh?

Thanks! Better crafty than shifty, I always say. Or at least I said it just now. :)
