We had our ball at the Country Club again, which is so beautiful, it's our favorite location.

The opening dance is called the Grand March. It begins in a formal way, then dissolves into a lovely relaxed lope where all hold hands and wander around in an exuberant chain all over the dance floor.
The lighting is bad, but the memories remain.

The rules were relaxed for this ball, so those without period dress were able to join in.
Plumb tuckered out.
I am positive this will be horribly cut off at the right end, but I'm not going to take the time to resize it.
