One time we had our cow and calf and a blind cow get out of our little 3 acres into the back yard, (the front yard in off the subdivision, and I AM NOT a country girl, and my hubby was a very long way away and I knew I HAD to get those cows back in. And how do you deal with a blind one?? They wouldn't go back in the way they came out, but they were surprisingly easy and I propped up the fallen down fence with something, I can't remember what. I have chased cattle, if I have to, but only as a helper.Gramma's Cornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11989938887191987414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639463329089942340.post-52467752234229099622010-09-18T21:15:10.158-04:002010-09-18T21:15:10.158-04:00SM,

There was no fence that girl could NOT leap over. She was incredible. If there were a Cow Olympics, she'd have come away with gold. Finally sold her, and the other guy called up saying he could not keep her in a pen...

My parents called her The Cow that Jumped Over the Moon.

Fortunately, none of these cows are aggressive. Just pesky and filled with wanderlust.

~FaithFaithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15491898004275353526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639463329089942340.post-40147568746541557142010-09-18T21:09:58.120-04:002010-09-18T21:09:58.120-04:00Leah,

Ice skating's got nothing on that! Could have been worse, since girlhood, I've landed in it on more than one occasion. Then again look on the bright side...maybe you shared your flu with the cows...one of them could be aching and running a fever right now! hahahahahaha Hope you feel better!Tracy Bruringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17680058756528755356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639463329089942340.post-6745913014813589042010-09-18T17:24:40.664-04:002010-09-18T17:24:40.664-04:00Oh! Faith,
Cows can be such a pain sometime but it's especially bad for you since they aren't even yours*sigh*
I did giggle at your photoshopped picture, LOL! Maybe next time you see good neighbor, you could off the cuff say, what kinda deal will you make us on half a beef, since we've helped feed them and fence them out*wink*
I'm thankful none of the cows we've owned are fence pushers, jumper or just plain ole fence busters.
HUGS and remember most cow, unless protecting a calf, will move away if yelled at.
KelleKelle at The Never Done Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06089557752054842197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639463329089942340.post-91382067505017942372010-09-18T16:35:11.784-04:002010-09-18T16:35:11.784-04:00Oh my!
